2. Our approach

This website is deliberately lean: we use no tracking or advertising cookies, embed no third-party content and load fonts and videos exclusively from our own server.

3. Server log files

When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the form or by email, we process your details (e.g. name, restaurant, email, phone, message, menu) to handle your enquiry and set up your restaurant. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Local storage

Your language choice may be stored in your browser so that we don’t have to ask you again. No data is transmitted to us in the process.

6. Links to WhatsApp and Letzdine

If you click a WhatsApp link, you leave our website; WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) privacy policy then applies. For letzdine.eu, the privacy policy published there applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz Rheinland-Pfalz).
